An intertribal coalition has come together to propose the preservation of Bears Ears Buttes via designation as a National Monument. Diné, Zuni, Hopi, and Ute have joined in this effort to show how important it is to preserve the sacred life-giving land that has been their home and that of their ancestors. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, NM will give a photographic tour of Ancestral Puebloan cultural sites on Wednesday, November 18th at 5:30. There will be a talk following the show.
